Perry Jones (born September 24, 1991) is an American basketball player. He is a high school senior and attends Duncanville High School. He is one of the top rated basketball players in the class of 2010. He will play basketball for Baylor in the 2010-11 NCAA basketball season.


High school

He is the #3 player in the ESPNU 100,[1] the #4 player in the class of 2010 by,[2] and rated as the #6 player by,[3]. In his junior year, Jones, along with current Texas forward Shawn Williams led Duncanville to the Texas 5A championship game where they lost to Cedar Hill High School 59-51. Duncanville finished with a 23-9 record for the season.[4]


Jones' AAU is the LBA Seawolves. In July 2009, he helped lead them to the semifinals in the Star Vision Sports Center Stage tournament in Las Vegas.[5]


Jones will play for Baylor starting in the 2010-2011 basketball season. He committed to Baylor on April 17, 2007.
