The Philippine Hawk-eagle, known in French as aigle des Philippines and in Spanish as aguila-azor Filipina (Nisaetus philippensis earlier treated under Spizaetus[2]) is a species of bird of prey in the Accipitridae family. The subspecies pinskeri may be a candidate for raising to full species.[3][4][5] It is endemic to the Philippines.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
