Pinabacdao is a 5th class municipality in the province of Samar, Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 14,492 people in 2,549 households.It is the Center of Rice Production in the Province of Samar. It is also known for its "Mayao-mayao Festival" which is held annually.Brgy. Dolores is the financial zone of Pinabacdao while Brgy. Mambog serves as it's Downtown Area.


Municipality of Pinabacdao is politically subdivided into 24 barangays.
