Encyclopedia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Plants+HC+SAR megagroup is a group of eukaryotes.[1]

It includes:

It has also been described as the sum of Archaeplastida, Rhizaria, and chromalveolates.[2] However, this simply refers to a different way of grouping the same organisms, largely due to the discovery that chromalveolata was not monophyletic.

It includes most of the species engaging in photosynthesis, except for the Euglenozoa.
