Wikiversity is not just for university students. It is a playground
for early learning as well.
Welcome to Wikiversity's Pre-School Education
Portal, an entry-point for Wikiversity's preschool and early
learning content.
Preschool education is the provision of education for children
before the commencement of primary education, usually at
around the ages of 2 or 3 to 5 or 6. Preschool is also known as
nursery school, day care or kindergarten
(other than in the USA, where kindergarten is the first year of
primary education). Early learning, by comparison, covers
all education of children from birth to the end of the preschool
period, and includes learning at home as well as externally
provided education.
Wikiversity provides equally for all ages and stages of
education. Toddlers, young children, and their parents and
educators are welcome to create and share learning materials using
this, the Wikimedia Foundation's website for global learning.
Achelousaurus was a kind of ceratopsid dinosaur
related to the better known triceratops. It was identified
and named in 1995. Click on the image for a full size version which
