Encyclopedia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pughtown is a town in Chester County, Pennsylvania located on Pennsylvania Route 100 just south of Bucktown, Pennsylvania.

Points of Interest

Pughtown is known as the childhood home of Paul E. (Pete the Streak) Hallman II. Forever remembered for famously imitating Sgt. Sam Troy of Rat Patrol fame in a golf cart at nearby Kimberton Golf Club, young Mr. Hallman broke his wrist while under the influence of several mind and body altering substances, flipping the cart (sans 30 Cal. Browning). Sadly, due to this injury his pole vaulting days ended prematurely.

Later on "Streak" made for fun and profit lamps made of simple blocks of wood that brought to mind Grandma Moses' early primitive paintings. Original examples of these classic designs are sought after by many collectors in the region.

Today Pete the Streak lives outside of Pottstown, PA. The family compound echos with laughter and small arms fire as Mr. Hallman works tirelessly to undermine the "the swine and weasels" currently in power.
