Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela (born 1955) is a South African psychologist who served on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. She received her undergraduate education from Fort Hare University and graduate education at Rhodes University and the University of Cape Town, with a fellowship at Harvard University. and she currently works at the University of Cape Town. Godobo-Madikizela has written several books and articles, including A Human Being Died That Night, a book about her experience in the TRC and the nature of forgiveness for which she won the Alan Paton Award in 2004.
