Raajneeti (Hindi: राजनीती) is an upcoming 2010 Indian political thriller written, directed, and produced by Prakash Jha. The film, shot in Bhopal, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgan and Arjun Rampal in lead roles.[1] The film is scheduled for release on 4 June 2010.[2] [3]

According to the film's co-writer Anjum Rajabali, this film is hugely influenced by the epic story from the Indian religious history the "Mahabharat", and is set in the milieu of contemporary electoral politics. So the films characters are going to have the similar dilemmas and experiences drawn from the story of Mahabharat.
