Raamlaxman (born Vijay Patil) Marathi(राम लक्ष्मण )is an Indian pianist and accordionist and was part of an orchestra called the Amar - Vijay Orchestra. Vijay Patil paired with Raam.

He is the "Laxman" of duo composers "Raam-Laxman". "Raam" died right after signing for Agent Vinod (1977) in 1976. Vijay Patil however continued with the name, as he had great success in '90s with Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), changed the spelling to "Raamlaxman". He has composed several hit songs in Hindi and Marathi. Raamlaxman has made almost 75 films in Hindi, Marathi and Bhojpuri.

Raamlaxman is most famous for his work with Rajshri Productions of Bollywood. He composed music for their hit films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain and others. His first film with the production house was Agent Vinod.

As claimed by many Ramlaxman had ripped the song The Final Countdown by Swedish Band Europe for his song mere rang me rangne wali. In Marathi films Raam laxman mostly worked with Marathi comedian actor Dada Kondke.
