Rachel Brooksby is a television presenter based in London, England.

She was born Rachel Woodhead in Leeds, England on 18 December 1976.[1] She studied Textile Engineering at University of Leeds and UNSW in Sydney Australia, and post-graduate Acting at Drama Centre London.[2]

Formerly an actress and sometime performance artist, Rachel most prominently played Teacher in Channel 4 drama Tina Takes a Break[3] in 2001 and Celia in Stephen Fry's Bright Young Things[4] in 2005. As a performance artist she appeared at venues including Camden Arts Centre.[5]. Now a full-time presenter, she specializes in Science and Technology.[2]

Rachel also runs her own successful property company and is a keen Cricket fan supporting Yorkshire and England.
