Rainer Adrion (born 10 December 1953) is a German football manager and former defender, currently managing the Germany U-21 team.

Coaching career

After playing for VfB Stuttgart, he began his managerial career in 1992 with SpVgg Unterhaching, with whom he had 2 spells; he also managed VfB Stuttgart (for four months) and Stuttgarter Kickers, and was manager of VfB Stuttgart from 2004 to 2009.

Personal

Rainer has two sons Benjamin is former footballer, currently Journalist of the Magazin "VIVA St. Pauli" and his second son Nico Adrion is also professional footballer.
