Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat is an Indian drama that airs on STAR Plus since January 21, 2008. It is the journey of a girl from a servant to the queen of the palace and how she manages the responsibilities of a queen and the elder daughter-in-law of the family.

Cast

An honest,shy sweet, loving woman who starts of as ordinary Indian village who goes to the city to look for education, she is taken as a servant in a Royal family. Eventually the eldest Prince(Yudhistir)falls in love with her, at first he mistaken her for his fiance Bhoomi, whom was his chosen partner at the time. he then realizes that she is only a servant, and marriage between a high caste prince and lower caste maid can never happen without his fathers will, who was the King at the time. Slowly Rani wins their hearts and Prince Yudhistir gets permission from his father and family.

The eldest son the king, he is gentle, loyal and loving man who falls in love with his sweetheart Rani, despite obstacles. His love for Rani is almost impeccable, he cares for her as well as well as keeping up with the customs and values of his royal family and pleasing his parents. Yudhishter later becomes his fathers successor to the throne along with his wife, Rani.

The King of Sashodiya Royal Family, A very strong willed, yet caring character, who does his best while ruling, he cares for his family, and tolerates nothins against his families customs and values, he always wants to keep his family happy. Later in the series he gives up his throne and passes it onto to his eldest son.

The second Queen of the Shashodiya family. Later in the series she passes on her crown to her successor and daughter in law if the family, Rani. rani married with raja and they livehappy but she did many thing to help her family
