Raju Chacha is an Indian Bollywood film directed by Anil Devgan, released on 20 December 2000. The film stars Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Rishi Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.

Siddhant Rai (Rishi Kapoor) is a widower who lives with his three mischievous children Rohit, Rahul and Rani. Siddhant arranges for a governess to look after them as their mother is dead. A young girl who works in an Orphanage named Anna (Kajol) applies for the job. The kids play a prank on Anna by pretending the house is haunted and secondly by sending her a telegram informing her of her parents death. She is hurt by this prank as she is an orphan and the kids realize their mistake and love her like a sister. Meanwhile a thief and conman named Shekhar (Ajay Devgan) and his friend Jadu (Johnny Lever) have been watching the Rai household. Shekhar is in love with Anna but mainly wants her for Siddhant's wealth. He declares love to Anna and she reciprocates his feelings. Siddhant organises for them to get married but on the wedding day he learns that Shekhar stole both their wedding rings and is only marrying Anna for the sake of their money. Shekhar is arrested and Anna is heartbroken and leaves the house.

This is when bad things occur in the Rai household. Siddhant's menacing relatives plan to get him killed and are successful when Siddhant dies in a car crash. They take over his household by force and ill treat his children. One day Rajit Rai, the younger brother of Siddhant arrives at the household. It is in fact Shekhar who had been told about the poor state the kids were in and disguised himself as Rajit Rai. Shekhar wins back the hearts of the children. Then, after a few days, Anna returns and he wins her heart back too. All goes well until the relatives find out that Shekhar is a fraud and have him arrested again.

Shekhar escapes from jail with the help of another conman called Gafoor (Sanjay Dutt). He returns to the household and frees the children of their evil relatives and marries Anna. Anna and Shekhar take care of the kids and are still looking out for the real Raju Chacha.

The end credits comes up as a group of kids sing in hope of Raju Chacha one day coming back...
