Real Maryland Monarchs is an American professional soccer team based in Rockville, Maryland, United States. Founded in 2007, the team plays in the USL Second Division (USL-2), the third tier of the American Soccer Pyramid.

The team plays its home games at Lester Stadium on the campus of Richard Montgomery High School, where they have played since 2009. The team's colors are white, gold and black. Their current head coach is Englishman Anthony Hudson. The team's nickname, the Monarchs or "Los Monarcas", is intended to reflect the state of Maryland’s colonial roots under Lords Calvert and Baltimore.

In addition to the senior team, the club also fields a team in the USL’s Super-20 League, a league for players 17 to 20 years of age run under the United Soccer Leagues umbrella.

On January 30, 2009, Real Maryland and MLS's Colorado Rapids announced a partnership that includes sharing of strategies and scouting between clubs.[1]
