Real Radio Scotland is an independent local radio station, owned and operated by GMG Radio and is based in Glasgow and is broadcast across central and southern Scotland.

Real Radio has stated that it is trying to get the radio station in frequency for north Scotland and will begin broadcasts in the north in November 2009.

Presenters on the station include Robin Galloway, Cat Harvey, Steve McKenna, Paul Harper, Micky Gavin, Ross Macfadyen, Joe Kilday, Mark Martin, Paul Carlin, Ewen Cameron and ex footballer Alan Rough.

The Real Radio Football Phone In, presented by Cameron and Rough (known as Ewen & Roughy) has become the most popular phone-in on Scottish radio, due to its rather light-hearted nature and also allowing fans to say whatever the want. Ewen and Roughy have released three CDs of highlights from their show.

The Real Breakfast Show with Robin and Cat has also been a huge success, with the Real Windup feature proving popular. Galloway has released nine CDs featuring the best windups from the show.

Self-proclaimed "worst DJ in Britain" Steve McKenna and Paul Harper also present daytime shows, with Micky Gavin in the late night slot.
