rekonq is a lightweight, QtWebKit-based web browser for the KDE desktop environment. It integrates into KDE, e.g. downloading files through KDE download system, sharing bookmarks with Konqueror, KIO support, etc. Its code was initially based on Qt Software's QtDemoBrowser and currently is developed on Gitorious.

The browser is characterized by being very fast, lightweight and low memory consumption. In the Acid3 test, rekonq obtained a score of 100/100.
rekonq includes tabbed browsing, bookmarks, popup blocker, KDE keyboard Web shortcuts support, support for search engines like Wikipedia or Google, unique loading URL bar, proxy support, etc.
