From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Reox is a spin-off of Dairygold Co-Op set up in May 2006. Reox consists of Consumer Foods, DIY and Property. In addition, Reox Holdings plc has a large investment in the SWS group. On 22 December 2006 SWS sold its non-agricultural businesses to [Ion Equity] for €110 million. In 2009 Reox sold its consumer foods business [Breeo] to Kerry Group for €140m after successfully defeating a Competition Authority ban on the transaction. It closed its retail business [4Home] after suffering huge losses. In November 2009 Eoin McGettigan, formerly of Dunnes Stores and Musgraves, was appointed to head up the business. That business now consists of a food business in Holland and a property company.
