Revolution MoneyExchange is an online bank that bills itself as an alternative to PayPal and its chief competitor, Google Checkout. It was founded by Jason Hogg and Patrick Graf as GratisCard in April 2007 [1]. Ted Leonsis and Steve Case are on its board of directors. [2]

Revolution MoneyExchange is backed by Citi, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank AG, as well as its parent company, Revolution LLC. [3]

Among some of its features are money sending over AOL Instant Messenger. [4]
