Ricky Tucker (Born January 14, 1959) Tucker played college football for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide from 1977 to 1980. He was named to the All SEC Freshman team and named two time 2nd Team All-SEC. While at Alabama he played for college coaching great Paul "Bear" Bryant. Tucker was a member of three SEC Championship teams (77'-79') and two National Championship teams (78' & 79'). He finished his career with 11 intercepions and 27 passes broken up. He had a two interception game against Mississippi State as a sophomore and led the Tide in interceptions his senior year. Tucker was a standout athlete at Bradshaw High School in Florence, Al. He lead the schools basketball team to the State 4A title in 1976.
