From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Robert H. Meyer Memorial State Beach is a California state beach made up with cove and cliff-foot strands known as "pocket beaches". It is located ten miles west (upcoast) of Malibu on the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1). It consists of three small beaches, El Pescador, La Piedra and El Matador. These three beaches can be crowded in the summer, but during off-season, it offers perfect opportunity for people to experience the finest solitude. [1]
