Robert Kelly (born October 8, 1970) is an Irish-American stand-up comedian from Boston, Massachusetts. He frequently performs at the Comedy Cellar. Robert Kelly often appears on The Opie and Anthony Show on Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio, and has also appeared on Last Call with Carson Daly, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and Premium Blend. Kelly is an avid angler.

In 2003, Bob Kelly was voted the Breakthrough Performer of the Year on[1]

In 2005, Kelly toured with comedians Dane Cook, Gary Gulman, and Jay Davis on the cross-country tour entitled Tourgasm. After tearing (ACL) and straining (MCL) ligaments in his knee (which led to a crying display that has been often-ridiculed on radio programs such as "The Opie & Anthony Show"), he managed to finish the tour which began airing on HBO as a comedy documentary series in June 2006.[2]

In 2005 and 2006, Bob Kelly accompanied fellow comedian Colin Quinn to Iraq, where they each performed stand-up for American troops stationed in Baghdad. Kelly claimed on the Opie and Anthony Show, that while there he saw a werewolf.[citation needed] He is known for his very weak stomach, and often suddenly gags or vomits when appearing on the Opie and Anthony show. One of his non-comedy ventures is to hunt for treasure in Guatemala,[citation needed] which he visited earlier in 2008.

Robert Kelly also had a cameo in the 2008 paranormal comedy Ghost Town where he plays the ghost of a construction worker.

Robert Kelly was a part of New Jersey's Bamboozle Festival in 2007 as part of the "Pass the Mic Comedy Tour" on Sunday March 6th.[3]

Kelly also had a small voice part in the 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV as an Italian gangster that accompanied the main character on a mission.

On the Opie and Anthony Show of February 24th 2009, Kelly revealed that his childhood nickname was "Spiff".

Kelly is currently on tour with comedians Al DelBene and Dane Cook on Dane Cook's Global Thermo Comedy Tour: ISolated INcident.

He is good friends with and former roommate of fellow Boston comedian Bill Burr.

Mr. Kelly and fellow stand up comedian Joe DeRosa are also notable for NOT asking an Outstanding Stand Up Comedian named Little Jimmy Norton to be in their 15 minute film. This has caused a rift in the relationship, and Little Jimmy Norton has had his Little Jimmy feelings hurt in a Big Jimmy way.

Robert Kelly also can not be asked a question while ranting because "One question will screw him up".
