Ron Harris (born 1940) is an American erotic photographer and television director.

Ron Harris was the top fashion photographer in New York for over 40 years, working with the legendary fashion magazines Elle, Vogue and Cosmopolitan among many others.

Harris has over 25,000 published photographs and 450+ Art Director Awards and 13 gold medals for artistic excellence.

Over the span of his high fashion photography career, Harris created more than 15,000 fashion and commercial advertisements and he Produced & Directed over 900 National Television Commercials for Fortune 500 Companies.

In 1982 Harris created and directed the first sexually implicit exercise programAerobicise. Harris then went on to create :20 Minute Workout, both aerobics-based television programs were carried on cable television. "Aerobicise" premiered on July 4, 1981 on ShowTime making it the worlds first aerobics show and video line released in the world, Aerobicise was nominated for a Cable Ace award and went on to become the highest grossing exercise video series of its time. In 1985, Harris authored the book Aerobicise 20 minutes a daypublished and distributed by Simon & Schuster beginning in 1985.

Bob Klinginsmith, former President of Paramount Home Video said in the Hollywood Reporter "If Leonardo da Vinci were alive today, he would be doing what Ron Harris does with a camera".

The Aerobicise series was carried by Paramount Home Video between the years of 1982–1995. The series is still available in VHS and DVD formats through and Aerobicise-20 Minute Workout, with clips available for download to the personal computer or iPhone through Ron

Harris also produced and directed numerous specials for Playboy Television between the years of 1995 and 1999. Among these were the titles, Ron Harris' Camera Up-Close & Dangerous, Ron Harris' Star Shapes, a series of seven one hour specials and Naturals a series of five one hour specials.

His nudes are photographed in a rather classical, glamorous style. Hugh Hefner called him "The King of Erotica" and Playboy Magazine called him "The Granddaddy of Soft-core".

In 1995, he revisited the aerobics genre with the VHS video release, Totally Nude Aerobics which was re-released in 2000 in DVD format. Harris launched his "Harris Archive" in 2003, a website mainly featuring softcore photography and erotic movies.

May 1, 1996 saw the launch of, an adult oriented website featuring only all natural models between the ages of 18 and 24, in its first month, the site received over 1 Million visitors. will celebrate its 13th Anniversary on May 1 of 2009.

In 1999, Harris introduced a website Ron's Angelsthat, according to the BBC, offered "the eggs of eight models for auction over the internet" with bids starting "between US$15,000 and US$150,000, depending on the model". Harris describes his idea as, "Darwin's natural selection at its very best". [1]. was created to allow those with the desire to procreate with the aim of producing beautiful children to bid on the eggs or sperm of fashion models that fit into a highly specific genetic profile, according to Harris' highest matehmatical standards of human beauty, including proportional aspects of the human face and body, symmetrical alignment of the features and other physical traits long associated with classical beauty.

Over the last 13 years, Harris has built a suite of websites focusing on his personal mix of artistic integrity and sexually charged content. These sites include; Ron Harris Studio and Harris-Archives.

In the Summer of 2008, Harris discovered a new model, Kara Duhe, and signed her to an exclusive contract for, and then created a personal site for his contract star, Kara Kara Duhe was nominated for an AVN Award in the category of "Best New Web Starlet" for the award ceremony held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In January 2009, Ron Harris launched a personal blog at The Official Ron Harris Blog, which is updated three times a week, with Harris' thoughts on life, beauty and tips and techniques of photography, in the form of short lessons based on his personal experiences and time tested shooting style.
