The Royal Theatre is a opera house and concert hall located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Opened in 1913, the theatre has operated under many guises, including cinema (operated during that time by Famous Players), opera, and concerts.
Today, the theatre has a capacity of 1,434. It is a popular venue staging concerts by Victoria Symphony and the Victoria Philharmonic Choir as well as productions of Pacific Opera Victoria, though it is also considered a receiving house, and regularly books "outside acts".
