Séries+ is a Canadian French language cable television specialty channel devoted to dramatic programming owned by Astral Media and CW Media (a division of Canwest and GS Capital Partners). In many ways it is considered the French-language equivalent to Showcase.

History

Licensed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) as Canal Fistion to Alliance Atlantis and Premier Choix Networks (Astral), the channel was launched on January 31, 2000 as Séries+.

On January 18, 2008, a joint venture between Canwest and GS Capital Partners bought Alliance Atlantis and gained AAC's interest in Séries+.

Original logo of Séries+ as well as the logo used for Séries+ HD, however with specific markings to identify it as the HD logo.

Series+HD.png On October 30, 2006 Astral Media launched an HD simulcast of Séries+.
