Samuel Robson (Rob) Walton (born 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is the eldest son of Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer. He is currently Chairman of the worldwide company. According to Forbes, his net worth is $19.2 billion as of 2008.
Rob attended The College of Wooster and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1966 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He received a juris doctor degree in 1969 from the Columbia University School of Law in New York City. Rob is also a Trustee at The College of Wooster.
After graduation, Rob Walton became a member of the law firm that represented Wal-Mart until his father's death. Rob Walton was named Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wal-Mart on April 7, 1992, two days after his father's death, and still maintains that title.
