Sabbatka is a Serbian progressive/power metal band gathered in May 2006 and it was called "Black Sabbatka" (the original band name was a joke because Hungarian name for Subotica is Sabbatka). They started playing in local bars as a cover band, but a year later they wrote and recorded their first DEMO "White Maiden". Since then the band has been fully dedicated to writing their own material. Sabbatka has not only done gigs at local bars but they have also performed at many festivals in Serbia: Tribute Hits, GBOB Challenge 08, Radio 202, CMOK fest (winners), Rat bendova TV serial show etc.
