Saindhavi is a Carnatic music singer and a South Indian film playback singer. She is learning carnatic and classical music for the past 5 years and currently learning from Sri.N.Sashikiran of carnatica.com and Smt Padmachandilyan and Srimushnam Raja Rao. She is also learning Hindustani music. She has been performing since the age of 12.[1]

Saindhavi as a playback singer has given some hit songs in Tamil films, serials and albums. Some of her Tamil film songs are[2]:

In Kannada, she sang Mussanje rangalli in the movie Psycho, which became a hit.

She has sung title songs for the TV Serials Idhu oru kaadhal kadhai,Edhir neechal, Chellamay Chellam, Magalir Mattum etc. She is also one of the lead[citation needed] vocalists in the popular series of albums 'Sacred Chants' by Kosmic Music.
