René Salomon Olembé-Olembé (born 8 December 1980 in Yaoundé) is a Cameroonian football player, currently on trial with Burnley F.C..

Olembé played for Cameroon at the 1998 World Cup, as well as the 2004 African Cup of Nations. He had been with Marseille since 2002, but spent some time on loan with Leeds United in the 2003-2004 season.Olembé spent Summer 2007 on trial at Derby County, where he scored in a friendly match against Burton Albion. However, he was not offered a contract by Derby, and on September 4, he was snapped up by Chris Hutchings at Wigan Athletic. He was seen as an ideal replacement for the recently departed Leighton Baines, signing initially on a one-year contract.[1]

In April 2008, it was revealed that Salomon Olembé would transfer to the Turkish club Kayserispor for the 2008/2009 season.[2]

In January 2010, in the winter break of his second season in the Süper Lig, Olembé transferred to Larissa F.C. of Greece.

In March 2010 he joined Burnley on trial and played in the reserve game against Manchester City F.C. on 1st March but was substituted at half time. [3]
