Samba rock is a genre of rock music and subgenre of Latin rock. Created in the 1960s, the genre combines the sounds of soul, funk and Brazilian Samba. Jorge Ben Jor created the style with his famous album "Bidu/Silêncio no Brooklin". After this a great number of artists followed Ben's beat, including Banda Black Rio, Bebeto (singer) and Trio Mocoto.
