Mary Ann saved Christian's life when he tried to commit suicide because of the thought that Ara is dead. She brought hope and happiness to Christian's lonely world and considered her as his bestfriend. But Mary Ann soon realizes her love for Christian but she chose to keep it a secret because of the fact that he is still in love with Ara.
