He later ran his own production company "Big Bear Productions" as well as numerous recording studios and his labels Hazard Records and Resolution Records.

Career

Burnett is a long-time associate of producer/arranger Ian McKenzie Anderson and producer/remixer Carl West and has formerly worked closely with prog-rock solo artist Rog Patterson. Burnett still considers Foxx's work to be a source of inspiration and also cites British composer and producer Mike Batt as a major influence.

Burnett composes and arranges music for film and television. He has had hits with Dezire featuring Jo Frances, BWT featuring Nina, Leif Benjamin and other European dance artists such as Massive Ego, Jason Prince,Flesh, Teresa Marie, Twister, DeFacto, Candi Staton, Angie Brown and Love Machine. Resident in Canada since 2002, he celebrated 25 years in the music industry on 13 July 2006.
