Sarah Hyland (born November 24, 1990) is an American teen actress, currently starring as Haley Dunphy on the ABC comedy Modern Family.

Biography

Hyland was born in New York City, New York, the daughter of actor Edward James Hyland and sister of actor Ian Hyland.[1]

She has been acting since she was 5 years old, with her first role as Howard Stern's daughter in Private Parts. She continued to grow in her career with such roles as Molly in the 1999 remake of Annie, and many more. She has recently played Brooke Shields' daughter, Maddie Healy, in Lipstick Jungle on NBC. She has also appeared in an Olive Garden commercial.

Sarah has also appeared on Broadway playing the young Jackie O in Grey Gardens the musical.[2]
