Sargam, is a Malayalam movie released in 1992. Hariharan did the direction, story and screenplay for the movie. The movie was produced by Bhavani Hariharan under the banner of Gayathri Enterprises. The cast of the movie included Vineeth, Manoj K Jayan, Rambha, Nedumudi Venu, Urmila Unni, Thilakan, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Sreeraman V K, Ravi Vallathol, Amritha and Soumini. Manoj K. Jayan's role as Kuttan Thampuran won hearts of all kinds of audiences including critics. Noted Director Shaji N. Karun did the cinematogrphy for the movie.Noted Music director Ravi Bombay (Bombay Ravi) did the music for this film, which won state awards for best music director, male playback singer(K.J.Yesudas) and best female playback singer (K.S.Chitra)
