Sasha Perera is a London-based MC and member of Berlin-based trio Jahcoozi. Perera also did a feature on Modeselektor's first album Hello Mom. She wrote and sang the track "Silikon" which ended up being a favorite of Radiohead's Thom Yorke.[1] Perera wrote the lyrics and sang on "Crushed Ice", on the 2006 Tolcha record, Gestalt.
While Perera was born in London, she is of Sri Lankan extraction and half-Tamil, half-Singhalese descent.[2]
