Savills plc (LSE: SVS) is a British-based firm of estate agents, property advisors, property management operators, planning consultants, and surveyors. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

History

The business was established by Alfred Savill in 1855 in London.[1] It incorporated as a limited company in 1987 and was first listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1988.[1] In 1997 it merged with First Pacific Davies (traditional Chinese: 第一太平戴維斯) in Asia.[2] In 1998 it bought majority stakes in the German, French and Spanish arms of Weatherall, Green & Smith.[1]

Operations

The Company has around 200 offices and associates throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
