Scott Mayer (born August 31, 1964 in Franklin, Wisconsin) is a former driver in the Indy Racing League IndyCar Series. He raced in the 2003 season with 3 career starts for PDM Racing, crashing out of all 3. He finished the season in a tie for 30th position in the season standings. He failed to complete rookie orientation for the 2003 Indianapolis 500 driving for the same team. He attempted to qualify for the 2005 Indianapolis 500 for A. J. Foyt Enterprises but failed rookie orientation again and was replaced by Felipe Giaffone. In 2004 and 2005 he drove part time in the Indy Pro Series for Sam Schmidt Motorsports with a best finish of 7th at Phoenix International Raceway.

He is the president and CEO of QPS Companies, Inc., the largest independently owned staffing firm in the state of Wisconsin.
