Scott McCready (born February 1, 1977 in London, England) is a British national (citizen) who was an American football wide receiver who, most recently, played for the Hamburg Sea Devils of NFL Europa from 2005 until the league's closure in 2007. Previously he played for the Scottish Claymores from 2002-2004, and was named to the All-League team on multiple occasions. He was the first British national and one of only three to have won the Super Bowl, followed by Lawrence Tynes and Osi Umenyiora.

McCready moved to the United States in 1992 at the age of fifteen and he played college football at the University of South Florida before turning pro.

He was a member of the New England Patriots' practice squad for the 2001 and 2002 seasons, and was on injured reserve for the 2003 season. His involvement with the team during the 2001 season made him the first Briton to have won a Super Bowl ring for Super Bowl XXXVI even though he didn't participate in the game. He also spent time in camp with the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs.

McCready was, for some years, a regular analyst on Sky Sports coverage of the National Football League.

He is now training to be an airline pilot, with Etihad Airways, based in the United Arab Emirates. He has two sons.
