Scott Perry is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 92nd legislative district. He was elected in 2006.[2]

Perry enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 1980 and attended basic training at Fort Dix, New Jersey.[3] Perry graduated from Advanced Individual Training at Fort Belvoir, Virginia as a technical drafting specialist and was the president of his Officer Candidate School class.[3] Perry has attained the rank of lieutenant colonel.[3] He assumed command of the 2-104th General Support Aviation Battalion in February 2008.[3] He has been called up for a tour of duty in Iraq and will deploy early 2009.[4]

Perry attended Northern High School in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania and the Cumberland-Perry Vo-Tech School. Prior to elected office, Perry has worked as a mechanic, a dock worker, draftsman, and a licensed insurance agent.[3] He earned a degree in Business Administration Management from Pennsylvania State University in 1991.[5]

In 1993, Perry founded Hydrotech Mechanical Services, Inc., a mechanical contracting firm in Dillsburg specializing in large meter calibration. [3] Since 2005, he has served as an Aviation Safety Officer, Joint Command for the State Aviation Office.[3]
