The Scream tour was a concert tour by singer-songwriter Chris Cornell, taking place in 2009, supporting his third solo studio album Scream, his R&B/pop collaboration with producer Timbaland.

The tour started with a special short European leg, made out of 5 dates, especially to promote the release of the album. During these shows, the album was played as a whole from beginning to end, with a special 5-song encore, made up from other Chris Cornell song, mostly Soundgarden songs.

During the next legs of the tour, the setlist was different almost every night and even though some songs reminded a staple for every night, setlists were diverse and included songs from all of Cornell's solo albums, songs from his time in Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave, and some covers of Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin and more.

The tour's second North American leg was set to begin with a performance at the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles, but it was announced on September 2, 2009, that this performance will be cancelled due to unforeseen band scheduling conflicts. Further North American dates for the rest of the leg haven't been announced yet.[1] An additional North American show was announced for October 15, 2009, though this was a private show at the new Hard Rock Cafe opening in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chris Cornell later announced that this was his last show for 2009 and that the tour was over, and he will be heading for the studio to rework the Scream album as a hard rock album, with producers Jordan Zadorozny and Michael Friedman, rather than Timbaland who produced the original album, which was a departure from rock music for Chris Cornell. The reworked album will be followed by an additional tour in 2010.
