Ahly

In 1999 Shady initially joined El-Ahly as a left wing back replacement for former international Mohamed Youssef. However, his limited dribbling abilities and high defensive awareness assigned him to the team's defense. However, during a match in the 2006 African champions league round of 16, Essam was blamed for two goals scored in his net. Thus, the captain's badge was taken from Hadary and given to Shady Mohamed.Mohamed played for El-Ahly at the 2005 FIFA Club World Championship, 2006 FIFA Club World Championship and 2008 FIFA Club World Cup,[1] where the club lost to Pachuca in the quarter-finals.[2].In 2009 Shady has been released and was given the green light to go for free, After spending a ten-years with the club and winning 22 competition.
