Sheldon Turnipseed (born November 30, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York) is an African American Actor, Rapper, and Singer. He is best known for his role as Jamal on the PBS kids' show, Ghostwriter, which earned the actor a 1993 Young Artist Award nomination for Outstanding Performers in a Children's Program.[1]. He changed his name to Tyrone Gabriel in 2009. Sheldon showed off his Rapping and Singing skills on "Ghostwriter".
