Shusaku Nishikawa 西川周作 (born June 18, 1986 in Usa, Ōita Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese football player currently playing for Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Career

Nishikawa is a product of Oita's youth system and was promoted to the top team in 2005. Nishikawa made his J-League debut on July 2, 2005 in a match against Yokohama F. Marinos. He became a regular in the 2006 season. After the relegation of Oita Trinita signed on 30 December 2009 for J-League club Sanfrecce Hiroshima[1].

International career

Nishikawa was a member of the Japan team for the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship finals. He was also a member of the Japan team at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[2]

He made his full international debut for Japan on October 8, 2009 in a 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Hong Kong.
