Sidney "Sid" Wyman, (St. Louis, Missouri, June 1910-June 1978) was a famous poker player and hotel owner in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Wyman was co-owner of several Las Vegas casinos including the Sands, Riviera, Royal Nevada and The Dunes.

Wyman was a highly skilled poker player, regarded as one of the best in the world in his day. His favorite game was Texas hold 'em, which has become popular today. In 1979, Wyman was made a charter member of the Poker Hall of Fame, of which there are only 26 other members.

Wyman was known as much for his generosity and charisma as his skill at poker, and was beloved by family, friends and hotel staff. During Wyman's funeral in 1978, all gaming play was halted for two minutes at The Dunes in his honor. He is survived by his brothers Joe and Lou, and his sister, Belle.
