From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A single-player co-op video game is a variant of a particular video game where input from a small group of players is expected throughout the course of the gaming session. "Single-player co-op game" usually implies a game that can only be played by one or more persons working cooperatively. Video games allowing Single player Co-op play have become common in recent times and allow a group of friends to experience the single player story together. Single player co-op usually consists of 1-4 players progressing through the original single player story.

The major selling points of larger single-player co-op games are interesting storylines, impressive graphics, and realistic non-player characters and opponents, an example is Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter (GRAW).
