Alonzo (Skip) Thomas (aka "Dr. Death") (born February 7, 1950 in Higginsville, Missouri) is a retired American football cornerback who played in the National Football League.

College career

Thomas played college football at the University of Southern California.

Professional career

Thomas played for the Oakland Raiders between 1972 an 1977. He had six interceptions a season two years in a row. His fierce tackling gave him the nickname "Doctor Death".
