Slackistan is an upcoming independent film directed by BAFTA nominee Hammad Khan. The film stars Shahbaz Hamid Shigri, Aisha Linnea Akthar, Ali Rehman Khan, Shahana Khan Khalil, Osman Khalid Butt of Zibahkhana fame, Khalid Saeed and Rafey Alam. The film will be distributed by Big Upstairs Films. The film's release date is expected to be sometime early 2010 worldwide.[1][2][3]

Plot

A young man in his early twenties juggles his dreams to be a filmmaker with his family life, his best friend's troubles, the girl he's interested in and living in Pakistan during political turmoil.
