"Soldiers" is the lead single off a hard rock band Drowning Pool's third studio album Full Circle. Released in 2007 and marks the Drowning Pool single debut of frontman Ryan McCombs, formerly of Soil. It also features McCombs' signature shouting style otherwise heard rarely on the album.
The song is written about and dedicated to the servicemen of the United States military. Its music video depicts the band performing to soldiers, who are seen singing along.
"Soldiers" is used by Philadelphia Phillies closer Brad Lidge when he enters games. Lidge chose the song as a tribute to his friends and family who have fought in Iraq.
All songs written and composed by Drowning Pool.
