Southside is the debut album of the Scottish band Texas. The album was released in March 1989.
The albums first single I Don't Want a Lover was released in 1989 and debuted at number 8 in the UK. [1]. Its second single was Thrill Has Gone and this time debuted at 60. Its third single Everyday Now only managed number 44 and its fourth single did not better Prayer For You was released and debuted at number 73 in the UK and managed 3 weeks in total on the UK Singles Charts. Why Believe In You (UK #66) and In My Heart (UK #74) were the last singles to be released from the album and did not make the UK Top 40.[2]
The album debuted at number three in the UK and spent 29 weeks on the charts. [3]
