St Martin's Episcopal School is a private school in Metairie, Louisiana. It was founded in 1947.

Founded in 1947, St. Martin’s Episcopal School is a superior co-educational college preparatory school offering a nurturing environment for creative learning and development of the whole person. Though located in the suburbs of New Orleans, St. Martin’s has been committed as a metropolitan school not limited to or dominated by a particular neighborhood, area, or social grouping. This metropolitan approach has been an integral part of the school’s history and remains a consistent element of the school community today.

St. Martin’s provides a challenging, college-preparatory education focused on development of the whole person. Students learn within a family atmosphere and a coeducational environment. In the classroom, in athletic competition, and in the community, students learn that the gifts they develop are not just for their own benefit, but also for their fellow human beings.

The strength of our scholarship is evident in our technology-enhanced curriculum, the performance of our students, and the dedication of faculty members, more than half of who hold advanced degrees.

Beyond academics, students at St. Martin’s have countless chances to develop as artists and athletes. And, through our chapel programs, service learning and religious study, they learn the importance of growing spiritually and serving their community. Service is a very prominent part of the St. Martin’s culture, and every student in every grade-as young as Prekindergarten-participates in service projects that help those in our community who are less fortunate.
