Stefano Miceli ( born in april 14, 1975 ) is an Italian classical pianist and conductor.

He made his concert debut at the age of 11, then he moved to study to Naples at Royal Conservatory of Music " San Pietro a Majella" under the direction of international renowned Vincenzo Vitale 's pupils and Roberto de Simone ’s ( for composition ) which led him to study conducting with Donato Renzetti. Then he attended Catholic University in Washington DC and the famous Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Florence, Italy. A renowned interpreter of Liszt’s Piano repertoire, Miceli rappresents the top new generation of famous Piano Napolitan School in the world. In 1993 Miceli made his american debuts in New Orleans and Las Vegas and since then he toured Europe, United States, Far East, Australia and South America. As a soloist and conductor he is probably best known for his interpretations of Astor Piazzolla Four Seansos and full cycles of Mozart and Liszt works for piano and orchestra. In addition to his solo work, Miceli enjoys good relations with orchestras as conductor such as Salzburg Orchestra, Milan Scala Orchestra, Fenice Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica de Maracaibo, Leipzig Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Slovak Kammerorchester, Moldova Philharmonic, Cluj orchestra, European Orchestra. His international reputation has been built both on his concert activity, renowned for strong personality and re-creative intensity, and on his appearances as guest professor at universities and masterclasses in Usa, Australia and Europe.

Stefano Miceli is Principal Guest Artist and Conductor of Leipzig Philharmonic Orchestra in Germany and in 2009 he was apponted Principal Guest Conductor of Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana in Italy, effective with 2010/2011 season.

In december 2008 Stefano Miceli received a Silver Medal by the President of the Republic of Italy on. Giorgio Napolitano.
